Throughout the past several decades, industry leaders and producers within Saskatchewan’s beef industry have discussed the potential advantages in forming one industry group within the province. They believed that this collaborative effort would facilitate representation from all sectors and regions of the province and could function on behalf of all Saskatchewan beef producers. It is this sector of committed and steadfast producers who have come together to form and be represented by the newly established Saskatchewan Cattlemen’s Association (SCA).
